The Salem Rotary Club holds its monthly Board of Directors meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.  The meeting times are from 10:45 AM to 12 PM.  The meeting is held at the Hawthorne Hotel.  The meeting room will be posted on the hotel schedule.  All Salem Rotary Club members are encouraged to attend these meetings, which are open to all Salem Rotary Club members.  These meetings are also valid for a makeup meeting.

President Bill and Bob Dionne would like to announce our Salem Rotary Scholarship Raffle. The club is going to raffle off a Boston Celtics Getaway. The winner of this raffle will win the following:

(2) Premium Seats to the Boston Celtics -vs- the Chicago Bulls on Friday November 5, 2010. 8:00pm tip-off.

Round-trip Town Car transportation from their home to the Bulfinch Hotel in Boston. The car will pick up the winner and guest at 3:00pm on November 5th. The car will then pick them up at the Hotel upon checkout and bring them home.

One overnight complementary stay at the Bulfinch Hotel in Boston. This beautiful Hotel is located across the street from the TD Bank Garden. Waiting for the winner will be a bottle of champagne in the room. The room will one king sized bed.

A $150.00 gift certificate to the Union Oyster House in Boston. A 6:00pm reservation will be made for the winner and guest.

A $40.00 gift certificate to the Flat Iron Restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Bulfinch Hotel.

PROCEEDS OF THE RAFFLE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO OUR SCHOLARSHIP FUND. 5 TICKETS WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL SALEM ROTARIANS. PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO SELL ALL 5 TICKETS BY TUESDAY OCTOBER 12TH. THE PRICE WILL BE $25.00 PER TICKET OR 5 TICKETS FOR $100.00.
