President Liz at the Polar Plunge
Thank you for visiting with us today. I hope you find from our website that the Rotary Club of Salem is an active, interesting and worthwhile endeavor, worthy of your support and interest.
The motto "Service Above Self" guides the action of our Club and each Rotarian as we engage in a wide variety of Community Service Projects.
Since our Charter by Rotary International in 1918, we have pursued one mission, "Service to the Community of Salem"
Youth:
We firmly believe that our focus of encouraging young men and women to seek challenges and achieve excellence is essential to building both a strong community and a responsible social structure.
In addition to Dictionary and Literacy projects in the Grammar Schools, we take pride in providing higher education Scholarships each year to Salem Students graduating from our local High Schools ...
Family:
As a Club we promote family stability by shoring up and maintaining safe havens for learning and growing. Organizations like the Girls and Boys Club of Salem, DFC, The "Y", Salem School Dept, etc... have long been associated with our great Club.
Community:
Supporting Agencies like the Salvation Army, Lifebridge, HAWC, St Josephs Food Pantry and others, goes a long way towards making a difference in the day-to-day lives of those in transition and our less fortunate.
Rotarians the throughout the World believe that our Mission is simply defined:
Rotary is all about "Community"... It is who we are and what we do...
With your help we will continue to have an impact on life here in Salem.
Yours In Community Service
Dr. Elizabeth Bradt, President
Rotary Club of Salem
