September 17 - Hold the date for the first fundraiser of the year! The Rotary Poker Tournament will be held at the Knight's of Columbus in Salem. Food and beverages are being donated by Kenny - thanks! Mark this on your calendar and help our club achieve the objectives President John has set for the year - ending hunger in Salem and helping Rotary International eradicate polio. More details to follow.

The Board approved a new project for the club. We will be providing preparation and funding for a meal nce a month at the Salem Mission. The first dinner is August 6 and Bruce Whear will be the team leader. The following Rotarians also volunteered their time:
