January 7th is the date for our Salem Mission Dinner. Roberta Cantor will be the team leader. Please see Roberta to volunteer.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

The second Change to Change Lives collection raised $502.00. The amount will be donated to the St. Joseph's Food Bank and should feed nearly 25 families this Christmas. Thank you to all Rotarian's who donated.

 

If you plan to attend the Poker Tournament in January please put your name in with Frank Campbell. Remember, this to benefit the Salem Boys and Girls Club. Please invite co-workers and employees.

 

A special thanks to all Rotarian's who purchased gifts for children of the Salvation Army. Your generous donations will make some unfortunate child very happy this Christmas morning.

SPEAKER/PRESENTER OF THE WEEK

 

Classification Speeches, Joanne Scott & Bob Dionne

 

Joanne lives in Salem. Her and her husband Ed Moriarty have 3 children. Marina, Estella, and Evan Moriarty. Joanne is also an animal lover with multiple cats and dogs. Joanne is the Executive Director of the Salem Boys & Girls Club of Salem. She is very passionate about her job and especially the kids. Prior to working for the Boys and Girls Club, Joanne was the Board of Health Agent for the City of Salem. Joanne is a fantastic Rotarian, we are lucky to have her.

 

Bob was born and raised in Salem. He and his wife Gretchen have a 3 year old daughter Reagan. Bob is a graduate of Salem High School and Endicott College. He is the former owner of Northshore Ambulance which he sold to Cataldo Ambulance Service in 2008. Bob currently works for Atlantic Ambulance which is a sub-division of Cataldo Ambulance and resides in Salem. He enjoys being a Salem Rotarian and acting editor of the Spoke.
