He has been lucky lately with raffles but did not win the lottery. His two children made it home for the holidays despite the bad weather.

On May 2nd, will travel to San Francisco for another Iron-Man Triathlon.

JULI LEDERHAUS

The Hawthorne is installing a new carpet in the main area of the hotel. They are also installing flat screen televisions in all of the guest rooms.

 

DENISE FLYNN

Friday March 5th is the 2010 Rotary Auction. The price is $50.00 per person which is less than last year.

 

BILL KIELBASA

Is collecting envelopes for the calendars. He also would like to plug Ken Rothwell's chicken pot pies. He had one last week and absolutely loved it.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Denise Flynn's daughter Kelsey is our sponsored student for the upcoming year. She is not sure where she attend, but she is very grateful and thankful for the opportunity. Congratulations Denise and Kelsey.

 

President John would like to recognize the calendar committee, co-chairs Dave Gendall and Bill Kielbasa, Ray Hodge, Dick Lutts, Anita Blackaby, Rinus Oosthoek, Viktoria Talebian and Jane Stirgwolt. The Salem News article from last week tripled the sales since the story broke. Keep selling your calendars.

 

If anyone is interested in hosting a foreign student from Salem State College for Christmas, please contact John Neely.

Salem High School Bank and Chorus performed for us today. They did a wonderful job, and we were extremely glad to have them at our meeting. President John provided Cynthia Napierkowski with a check for $1,000.00 after they performed.
