During the summer months, our meetings are shorter, generally having no special meetings or speakers, ending at about 1pm. Our speaker series will resume again the fall.

Viktoria Talebian had a club service announcement that the annual DFC picnic at the Plummer Home for Boys will be held on Wednesday, August 13th starting at 6pm. We are looking for volunteers to help setup before the 6pm start time. Please contact Viktoria for details on how you can help.
Rich Eisner hiked up to, and stayed at, the Lake of the Clouds hut on Mt. Washington with Bill Kielbasa. Topic of conversation in the hut? Feet.
Jason Consalvo reported on the 19-2 victory the Salem Club softball team had over Beverly. A 2nd Salem vs. Beverly game is scheduled for 7/29.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS
Please welcome our newest club member, Robert McHugh.
The Salem Club won the 1st game of the the semi-finals against Beverly 19-2 on Tuesday night. They beat Beverly 13-12 on Wednesday night and await the winner of the other semi-final series for the district 7930 championship.
