During the summer months, our meetings are shorter, generally having no special meetings or speakers, ending at about 1pm. Our speaker series will resume again the fall.

Jane Stirgwolt announced that her daughter, Anna, is changing jobs and having a baby!
Tim Clarke and his wife love their new home in Danvers. Their son is hoping that a Swedish model lives next door!
John Fisher spent the 4th holiday in Park City, Utah visiting his daughter, playing golf, and attending a concert.
Viktoria Talebian is excited about President Chris' new committee structure. She and Chris are co-chairs of the Calendar Committee. She hopes to have the calendars in October.
Viktoria is also the new "Mark Leavitt" as chair of the Community Service Committee. Her goal is to have a timely calendar of events. The first event is the upcoming DCF Picnic on August 13th at 6pm at the Plummer Home.
Claudia Chuber went to Rhode Island to watch the Colombia vs. Brazil soccer match with other Colombian families. Although Colombia lost, she had a good time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CLUB BUSINESS
President Chris unveiled this year's Rotary flag with the motto, "Light Up Rotary."
Special guests next week will be Friends Forever from Israel and Palestine. The Board voted to donate $3,000 to this great organization.
Chris presented Mary Ann Lyons with a Perfect Attendance pin. Congratulations, Mary Ann!
The first Board meeting will take place next Thursday at 11am.
Chris asked for suggested speakers for the coming year. Just give your ideas to the co-chairs, John Keenan and Maryann Curtin, and they will follow up on it. Claudia mentioned that the District now has a Speaker's Bureau listed on their website.
