Rich Eisner gambled in Maine and was a winner with a net of $15.00!!  Rich also gave out flyers for the Salem/Swampscott Youth Hockey Golf Tournament Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, September 20th at 1pm.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Mickey Northcutt acknowledged the CDC's AmeriCorps volunteers last week with them.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Liz Bradt spent 2 weeks on Cape Cod celebrating her and her husband's 26th wedding anniversary.

Jake Segal had a wonderful vacation with his sons, son-in-law and grandsons as they visited the Baseball Hall of Fame.  They are looking forward to next year's adventure.

Viktoria Talebian is collecting backpacks and donations to buy more backpacks for children in HAWC going back to school.  Viktoria collected over $265 and 22 backpacks so far.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
President Chris is pleased with the morning's Board meeting, saying it was a great start.  The Speaker Committee meeting was also productive.
 
 
Mark Leavitt thanked Viktoria Talebian for helping organize the DCF cookout at the Plummer Home.  Together they shopped at BJ's purchasing a large cooler that may be used for other Rotary events.  The cookout was a huge success with Chef Jim Robinson scoring 5 stars for his hamburgers and Jeff Holloran providing the entertainment!  Mark thanked other Rotarians who helped at the event including Dave Wescott, John Hall, Victoria Hoill, John Fisher, Rich Eisner, Susan Berton, Betsye Sargent, Ann Richardson, Mary Ann Lyons, Bob Anthony, Frank Campbell, and Sharon Casey.
