FINES AND RECOGNITIONS
Mike McLaughlin returned from a great week in Martha's Vineyard. He won the stay at Geritt Bradley's family farmhouse at the annual Rotary auction. His family joined him, including his granddaughter.
Jason Consalvo and Jane Stirgwolt rocked out at the Lifebridge dinner. They said it was very successful. Jason also said the Patriots beat the Steelers!
Adria reminded club members to take pictures at club events.
Claire Kallelis said Rebecca Eaton, the Executive Producer of Downton Abbey was having dinner at the Hawthorne Hotel.
Bruce Whear said his wife, Heide, is on sabbatical, which means they are spending more time together at home.
Bill Henning said Thomas is in England, and it is okay to "like" his Facebook posts.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CLUB BUSINESS
This Friday, September 13th there will be Dutch Drinks at the Salem Ferry Landing (weather permitting) at 4:30. If the weather is bad, the event will be at Bit Bar.
On September 24th, the Phoenix School students will have their inauguration of officers ceremony. The students will come to the meeting and participate by giving their speeches to the Club. It will also be a Change for Change day.
Saturday, October 5th is a Rotary leadership day. Please see Mike McLaughlin for details.
December 13th there will be a District event to hear the Boston Pops play at Symphony Hall.
