Rosario Ubiera-Minaya spoke to use this week via Zoom to share her work at Amplify Latinx, a Latinx civic and leadership network non-profit organization in Boston whose main focus is to convene, connect, and educate their network on issue priorities and policies that are impacting the Latinx community. The goal of Amplify Latinx is to build Latinx economic and political power by fostering Latinx culture, business, and art. The mission statement is "To be a leading voice and advocate for our Latinx communities across Massachusetts by building a diverse, unified, and powerful coalition of Latinx leaders and partner organizations."
Rosario spent the bulk of the presentation reviewing the many successes of Amplify Latinx. She was proud to announce that the organization had just passed 6000 members! There is also a growing list of business partners. Amplify Latinx grows by connecting individuals and business, and by hosting events both in person and virtually. Amplify Latinx has an impressive list of sponsors from the business community as well.
Amplify Latinx was launched three years ago and has become a key conveyor, connector, and influencer on the issues facing the Massachusetts Latino community.
Besides her many awards and recognitions, Rosario founded Cojuelos Productions and her vision helped lead to El Punto Urban Art Museum. She also worked as a Chief Program Officer at NSCDC.

WHat The four way test means to me
Ryan Guilmartin spoke about what "Is it fair to all concerned?" means to him. He discussed how unfairness is pervasive, from his lessons early in child, noting that we have all heard the saying "life isn't fair". He recounted his years in public school teaching and real estate, which only reinforced this concept. However, treating others fairly is something in his power and something he strives to always do. Systems might be unfair, but our interactions with other can always be fair.
Yours in service
