This event has been cancelled due to Covid-19. Donations in lieu of the event are gladly accepted.

Important update: Salem Rotary Spring Dinner & Auction has officially been cancelled.
After some great deliberations President Mike McLaughlin and the board of the Salem Rotary Club have decided to officially cancel this year’s Spring Dinner & Auction (originally scheduled to take place on March 27). As you might realize, this will have a tremendous impact on this year’s budget and the Club’s ability to do good in Salem and in the world.
We have approached all sponsors asking them to continue their commitment to the event (BIG Thank You to all of them!), but also are looking for individual donations to the Salem Rotary Club from members and non-members alike.
All donations to the Club are used for the general good of rotary, including the distribution of scholarships to Salem seniors later this year, and of course, we would be grateful.
The easiest and most efficient way to make a donation is to use the “Donate” button on the Salem Rotary Club website ( – top right corner).
On behalf of the Salem Rotary Club,
Rinus Oosthoek, Auction Chair

The Salem Rotary Club is once again organizing  the Spring Dinner & Auction, to be held on Friday March 27 at the historic Hawthorne Hotel. Join us for music, cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, and dancing!

All proceeds of the event benefit scholarships for Salem students going to college as well as numerous other great causes in Salem and the world. The Rotary Club needs the support of the Salem business community, and is collecting auction items, accepting sponsorship support, and of course selling tickets for what promises to be another fantastic event. Most sponsorships include event tickets, and we would be thrilled to spend this evening with you. Click here for sponsorship opportunities.

The evening will include cocktails, music and a silent auction, followed by a fantastic dinner and a “lively” Live Auction. The evening continues at Sofia's nightclub, where all guests have the opportunity to showcase their moves or chill with a cocktail of their choice. If you are interested in making a donation, becoming a sponsor, or attending the event, complete this form and send it to Rotary Past President Rinus Oosthoek (email: / T. 978-744-0004).
